BOWDOINHAM — A harvest festival will take place at the Long Branch School & General Store, 20 Main St., noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.

Activities will include a potluck beginning at noon. Local food dishes with items from local farmers will go alongside potluck offerings from everybody.

A live petting zoo, blacksmith demonstrations and a cider press will be on hand. Music by the Long Branch Boys bluegrass band starts at 12:30 p.m.; the SAD75 bus garage band, Eagles Way, at 2 p.m.
