BRUNSWICK — Martha L. Jacobs, 78, of Brunswick died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick following a long illness. She was born September 10, 1934 in Belgrade, ME a daughter of William and Hazel (Taylor) Crocker.

Martha was educated in Jefferson schools and also attended Lincoln Academy in New Castle, ME.

She devoted her life to raising her family. Martha was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Brunswick for over 50 years. She remained faithful to Jehovah until the time of her death. She enjoyed spending time with her husband bird watching and she was also a self taught painter and created many hand painted works that she shared with many.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, Paul Jacobs, Jr. of Brunswick, four sons, Paul M. Jacobs of Brunswick, Brent A. Jacobs of Farmington, ME, Jody L. Jacobs of Brunswick, Timothy W. Jacobs of Topsham, three brothers, Sheldon Crocker of Damariscotta, William Crocker of Litchfield, Johnny Winslow of Bethel, ME, two sisters, Irene Drury of Alexandria, VA, Dagmar Dahl of Portsmouth, NH, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 22 Water Street, Brunswick.
