THE SECOND ANNUAL Rolling Slumber Bed Races took place Saturday along Park Row in Brunswick. The event was part of Early Bird Weekend organized by the Brunswick Downtown Association. Following several elimination heats, Cool As A Moose prevailed as the bed race winner, beating the Shift team. Other teams that participated were from Thornton Oaks, Wilbur’s of Maine, Brunswick Downtown Association, No. 10 Water restaurant, and Maine State Music Theatre. Members of the Cool As A Moose team included Chelsie Glover of Kennebunk, Caroline Kurrus of Arrowsic, Jada Clement of Portland, Becca Irwin of Bath and Lori May of Freeport.
