SOUTH PORTLAND — Dead River Co. has turned to a 24-year management veteran as its new district manager in its Brunswick office.
James Pietkiewicz, who grew up in Topsham, has spent the past 16 years working with Downeast Energy, most recently as general manager of the Downeast Energy Hallowell/Augusta office. While there, Pietkiewicz was awarded the Allen E. Morrell Award of Excellence.
“Our district offices are the meeting place for our customers and the company,” said Deanna Sherman, Dead River Co. vice president for Petroleum. “We pride ourselves on having district managers who understand the premium we put on service to our customers and the communities we serve. Jim fits the bill perfectly.”
Pietkievicz is a volunteer at both the Topsham recreation department and St. John’s School in Brunswick. He attended Plymouth State Collage and the University of Maine.
