AUBURN — Representatives from the New Hampshire based law firm of Tarbell & Brodich, P.A. recently celebrated their official grand opening after relocating their Maine office from Augusta to Auburn in order to better serve their clients throughout the state.

Located at 86 Main St., the new location will be headed by Jim Pross, an attorney with Tarbell & Brodich for the last six years.

“As our organization continues to expand throughout Maine and New Hampshire, we were looking for a more efficient opportunity to better serve our clients,” said Pross. “The central location of Auburn and the opportunity for growth in the local community made this an easy decision for us.”

While the original Maine office was located in Augusta for the previous six years, partners in the law firm saw an opportunity and expressed interest in expanding law services to the Auburn-Lewiston area.

“It’s important for us to be part of the excitement and energy in Auburn,” said Pross. “The Riverpark Building on Main Street is in the heart of this community. When we decided to make the move, we couldn’t help but notice the charm of the signs hanging along the brick buildings in the downtown, and that really did have an appeal to us as a small law firm.”

With six attorneys, two paralegals, and a support staff of five spread throughout New England, Tarbell & Brodich has continued to grow over the last 20 years.

Officials in Auburn highlighted the growing scene of professional organizations relocating into the downtown.

“Over the last few months, we’ve seen a surge of new businesses moving into the downtown,” said Jonathan LaBonte, Auburn’s mayor. “As we continue to strengthen the heart of our community, the result will be new job and business opportunities that attract more residents and visitors.”
