BRUNSWICK — Dr. Thomas Augat, a Brunswick chiropractic physician, addressed leaders of the chiropractic profession from all the state and national associations at the recent Congress of Chiropractic State Associations’ annual convention in Atlanta, Ga.

Augat is chairman of the profession’s national research and guidelines council, the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters.

He was discussing guidelines and treatment algorithms developed by the council for use by all field clinicians and the colleges to improve the care and outcomes for patients.
