PORTLAND — Students who need help applying for financial aid or developing a resume before May can get assistance at the Portland Public Library through an Americorps program.
Starting this month and running through the May deadline, individuals who need help filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid can receive assistance from an intern. Resume-writing help is also available for teens looking to create a competitive resume.
Sessions will be held in the Teen Library study rooms. Appointments are necessary a week in advance for either program; to reserve time call 871-1700 ext. 772.
