BECKY ROSEN … new director

BRUNSWICK — CHANS Home Health Care recently named Becky Rosen, R.N., M.S., as its new director of Clinical Services.

Rosen had worked with the Quality Improvement Department at CHANS since this past summer.

“Living in Freeport, I have heard my neighbors rave about the in-home care received by CHANS staff, and then seeing firsthand the quality of the care provided from my former position at CHANS, led me to apply for the clinical director position,” said Rosen. “I am excited about helping lead CHANS; I feel very positive about the services and staff, and am pleased to be acting in a larger role at CHANS.”

Chalmers statement

“We are very much looking forward to the leadership and skills that Becky brings to her new position at CHANS. We are a thriving home healthcare agency, posed to move into new areas of care with the addition of our Community Care Teams and several other exciting new programs. We will benefit greatly from Becky’s experience, management style, and leadership skills as we grow,” said Darlene Chalmers, vice president of Elder and Home Care Services for Mid Coast Health Services and executive director of CHANS Home Health Care.

Rosen’s experience

Rosen brings to CHANS more than 20 years of leadership in home health and hospice programs. In addition, she has an understanding of federal, state, and agency regulations pertaining to the delivery of quality home care services which match perfectly with CHANS’ Joint Commission Accreditation as well as deficiency-free state surveys.

Rosen comes to CHANS after four years with Hospice of Southern Maine as its Clinical Services director and, before that, 12 years with Community Health and Counseling Services in Bangor.

CHANS HOME HEALTH CARE is a nonprofit, Joint Commission Accredited agency providing nursing, rehabilitation, palliative, hospice, and private duty care services in Mid-coast Maine. CHANS is an affiliate of Mid Coast Health Services.
