BRUNSWICK — Eldrick N. Thibodeau, “Pepere,” 83, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2013 at Freeport Nursing Home.

Eldrick was born in St. Francis, Maine, December 5, 1929, the son of the late Willie and Fabian Thibodeau. He was 8th of 16 children. After working as a lumberjack in the Allagash, Eldrick joined the Army in May 8th, 1951. He was stationed in Germany during the Korean War as an Infantryman. Eldrick married Nina Blair of Connors, NB Canada, Feb. 21st 1955.

Eldrick loved watching John Wayne movies and football. He especially loved the Patriots and tolerated the Red Sox.

Eldrick will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Nina Blair Thibodeau of Brunswick, ME, and his seven children Frank, Perry, Karen, Mike, Kim, Eric and Kara; their families, 18 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 expected great grandchildren.

His wife and children would like to thank the staff at Freeport Nursing Home for their loving care in his final days.

A Mass of Christian

Burial will be celebrated at St. John’s the

Baptist Catholic Church-All Saints Parish, 39 Pleasant Street, in Brunswick ME, on Friday, Feb. 1st at 10am, followed by military honors. A Reception will follow at Knights of Columbus on Columbus Drive in Brunswick, ME. Interment will be a private family affair at a later date.
