A VARIETY of antiques will be available Sunday during the third annual Winter Antiques Show at For t Andross in Brunswick. Appraisals will be done to benefit Make-A-Wish.

BRUNSWICK — Fort Andross will host its annual Winter Antiques Show on Sunday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This winter’s show will feature more than 50 antiques dealers from Virginia and Massachusetts as well as all regions of Maine, offering an array of quality antiques from 18th and 19th century primitives to a diverse mix of accessories including art, folk art, lighting, textiles, jewelry, pottery, nautical, clocks, toys and furniture.

Located in the historic Fort Andross Building at 14 Maine St., the Fort Andross Winter Antiques Show and Cabot Mill Antiques attract hundreds of visitors, a news release said.

Appraisals will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with independent appraiser and auctioneer Rusty Farrin, of Farrin’s Country Auctions, a family-owned and operated business for more than 30 years. Farrin holds accreditation from the Maine Auctioneers Association, Certified Auctioneers Institute, Advanced Auctioneers Institute and is the former president of the State of Maine Auctioneers Association.

Appraisals are $5 per item. Proceeds from the day’s appraisals will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine.

Early buying begins at 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Admission is $6, or $5 with this announcement.

General admission starts at 10 a.m. Cost is $3, or $2 with announcement.

Parking is free and Fort Andross is fully accessible. Food will be catered by Starlight Café & Bakery of Bath. Local and nationwide shipping is available on premises by Touch of Gray Inc.
