BRUNSWICK — Margaret “May” Lambert, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, died on March 6, 2013 suddenly and peacefully. She was a vibrant and positive person right up until the time of her death at the age of 92.

She grew up in Littleton, Massachusetts with two sisters and six brothers. She and her husband, Frank J. Lambert, were married in 1947 and spent 57 wonderful years together. They lived in Chelmsford, Massachusetts in a home built and designed by Frank and retired to Maine living in Flintlock Village in Wells, Maine in 1990. In 1972 May and Frank designed and built “The Cottage” on Este’s Lake in Alfred, Maine. The cottage was, and still is, a source of wonderful memories for the family.

May is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Lambert Frothingham, and granddaughter, Emily Lambert Geis, as well as many nieces and nephews.

May loved to bake and play cards, but most of all, she loved to garden. As recently as last summer she was working in Rhonda’s garden and at the family cottage on Estes Lake. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a wonderful role model for health and strength. May loved to be around children and seemed ageless even during her last year.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wells, Maine on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 9:30 A.M. followed by a committal service at the Evergreen Cemetery in Alfred, Maine.

Condolences and memories can be expressed at www.brackettfuneralhome.com.
