VASSALBORO — Eleven new Maine state troopers are shining up their badges.
The troopers are being sworn in Friday at a graduation ceremony at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro.
The new troopers have completed eight weeks of police training and will now go on patrol with a veteran trooper.
Col. Robert Williams, chief of the Maine State Police, will be the speaker at the ceremony.
