IN LATE MARCH, Lisbon Xtra-Mart manager Tonia Ross, right, presented Ken Healey, principal of Lisbon High School, with a $500 check. Ross made the presentation as a gift to the school on behalf of the Educational Alliance Program sponsored by Exxon/Mobil. Healey said, “Thanks to the contributions from community businesses like Xtra-Mart, the students at Lisbon High School benefit. Monies will be used to purchase ‘spirit shirts’ for student awards in areas of academic achievement and overall good sportsmanship.” Ross said, “It is always a pleasure to help the students at LHS.
