TOPSHAM — Rita Dobransky Justice of Topsham, Maine, passed away on the evening of April 8, 2013 in her home.

She was born on May 2, 1929 and grew up in the small village of Pejepscot with her loving parents and many brothers and sisters. Rita and her sister Madeline were inseparable during their childhood and she often recounted her fond childhood memories to any willing listener.

In 1954, Rita married the love of her life Benjamin Justice and together raised their two sons and owned Ben’s Barber Shop in Brunswick, Maine. Benjamin passed away in 1981.

After the passing of her husband, Rita truly lived for her family, especially her grandchildren, and most recently her great grandchildren. She was well known for her love of family, her ability to chat, her uncanny memory, and her love for the Red Sox. She could often be seen casting spells at Roger Clemens through the television when he would pitch for the Yankees against the Red Sox.

Rita is survived by her sister Madeline, brother Edward, her two sons, Bruce and Timothy and their wives, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A grave side service will be held for Rita on May 2, on what would have been her 84th birthday, at 11 a.m. at Saint Cyril Cemetery, Lisbon Falls, Maine.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Red Sox Foundation and Mass. General Hospital Home Base Program http://www.homebaseprogram.org/.
