Lucy met and married Wayne S. Crooker and moved to North Carolina where she had their son Wayne Jr. They then moved to Massachusetts where Lucy taught figure skating and took care of her family.
Lucy loved to have a good time. Her husband was a DJ at a Massachusetts radio station where she met and entertained many famous people. She was a gracious hostess and wanted everyone to have fun.
Lucy is predeceased by her parents; Wayne S. Crooker Sr., husband of 51 years; a sister Shirley May Maynard; a brother Herbert Maynard, and a great-grandson Brody W. Messier.
Lucy is survived by her son Wayne S. Crooker Jr. and his wife Stella, a granddaughter Tara N. Dry-Crooker, a great-grandson David W. Gordon, cousins, nieces and nephews.
No services are planned but donations can be made to Healing Hearts Foundation.
