BRUNSWICK — Barbara M. Green, 88, resident of Tufton Street in Brunswick died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born March 31, 1925 in Newcastle, ME, a daughter of William H. and Ethel (Gough) Chickering. She was educated in Damariscotta and South Portland schools.
She married John Silvius in 1943 and Ransford Green in 1965. Both husbands predeceased her. She was also predeceased by a son Bryan Green.
Barbara devoted her life to her church, the Chapel of Our Savior in Brunswick, where she was a very active member.
Survivors include her three daughters, Kathleen and Gwendolyn of Florida, and Jacqueline of Westbrook.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at the Chapel of Our Savior Church, Old Bath Road in Brunswick.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Brackett Funeral Home, Brunswick.
