BRUNSWICK — John C. Monteith III, 31, died Aug. 10.
Born in Portland, he was the son of James Monteith and Brenda Carrier.
He graduated from Massabesic High School and attended Kaplan University. He had a love for photography, camping, fishing, hiking, canoeing and computer technology.
Monteith is survived by a daughter, Alyssa Monteith; a sister, Sarah Mills; grandfather Eugene Carrier; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Shalom House, Art Department, 106 Gilman St., Portland, ME 04102.
