WINSLOW (AP) — A teacher at Lawrence High School in Fairfield has been arrested on charges of having unlawful sexual contact with a girl under age 12 and of possessing child pornography.

Police say David Morissette, 44, of Winslow had 2,000 child pornography images on a school laptop computer and iPad.

Attorneys on both sides said none of the charges involve his students.

Morissette was ordered held on $10,000 cash bail.

Morrisette’s attorney Robert Sandy tells the Morning Sentinel his client “denies any wrongdoing of any kind.”
