BRUNSWICK — David A. Chute, 84, passed away on Oct. 19, 2013, at the Horizons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brunswick, ME. David was born July 25, 1929, in Hyannis, MA, to Dr. James and Eunice Chute. He was the youngest of three children.

David was a graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon School and attended the North Bennett School for piano tuning in Boston.

David married the love of his life, Ruth Morin, in 1950. They had three children.

David was a great lover of jazz music and a talented musician. He enjoyed woodworking, sailing, and sports cars.

He worked as a bank manager, car salesman and piano tuner.

David is survived by his three children: Jaye Chute of Brunswick, Mark Chute of Strafford, VT, and Matthew Chute of St. Petersburg, FL; and six grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his wife.

A private family gathering is planned for sometime in near future.
