10/22 at 7:37 p.m. Scott A. Coombs, 36, of Water Street, was arrested on Elm Street by Officer Patrick Scott on charges of criminal trespass, refusing to submit to arrest or detention and possession of marijuana.
10/23 at 4:42 p.m. Stephen A. Shaffer, 26, of West Elm Street, Yarmouth, was arrested on Everett Street by Officer Patrick Scott on charges of criminal trespass, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

10/28 at 11:45 a.m. Animal Control Officer Heidi Nelson responded to a call about a yellow, male Labrador retriever stuck in a retaining pond near the Graham Road Recycling Facility. After Nelson was unable to reach the dog, a team of firefighters arrived with water gear to rescue the mutt, who appeared to be healthy once out of the water.
