Adam Lovejoy made 20 of 25 free throws to win the boys’ 12-13 division at the Biddeford- Saco Elks Lodge’s annual Hoop Shoot competition Sunday at Saco Middle School.

Other division winners were Lydia Desjardins, girls’ 8-9; Braden Camire, boys’ 8-9; Mia Taranko, girls’ 10-11; Alec McAlary, boys’ 10-11; and Lauren Desjardins, girls’ 12-13.

All six winners qualified to participate in the Coastal District competition Jan. 12 at Oceanside High School in Rockland.

Scarborough High junior Maddy Dobecki and Massabesic senior Jacqueline Guillemette were among 12 players named to the Harrow Sports/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Northern New England All-Region Team.
