The average price of gasoline has fallen 2.2 cents in Maine in the past week, to $3.49 a gallon.
The gasoline pricing website GasBuddy.com surveys more than 1,200 Maine gasoline outlets.
The average price of gas nationally also has fallen 2.2 cents, to $3.27 a gallon.
Prices in Maine are 3.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, and 1.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The national average has increased 4.7 cents per gallon during the last month and stands a penny per gallon higher than a year ago.
