Republicans can spend their time trying to make President Obama fail, or they can spend their time to make the American people succeed. They can’t do both.
U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and U.S. House Speaker John Boehner have made their very immoral and cruel choices, like cutting food stamps for children during the worst depression since the 1930s, and opposing the extension of unemployment insurance for the mainly older long-term unemployed.
The American people now must make our choice.
By their actions, Boehner, McConnell and their peers have said, “Let them eat cake, if they have no bread.”
