WORCESTER, Mass. — Francis S. Duprey, 89, of Worcester, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at Parsons Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester.

He was born Nov. 30, 1924 in North Adams, a son of Babe and Lottie (Roberts) Duprey.

Francis served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

With his degree in engineering, he worked for Rockwell International on projects, which included the Patriot Missile development.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mabel (Cash) Duprey, on Feb. 13, 2013; and by a nephew, Thomas F. Farda on Feb. 14, 2014.

He is survived by: four nephews, James Farda of Floyd, N.Y., Richard Farda of Lee Center, N.Y., John Farda of Rome, N.Y. and Robert Farda and his wife Michele of Whitesboro, N.Y.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visiting hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
