Poet pays homage to Holocaust victim
Former Portland poet laureate Martin Steingesser and the Thinking Heart Ensemble present “The Return – Pilgrimage to the Heart.” This is their first performance of their tribute to Holocaust victim Etty Hillesum since their return to Maine from the former Auschwitz death camp, where they performed the piece in the spot where Hillesum was killed.
