Mike Fuller collected three goals and three assists Tuesday to lead Portland to a 15-3 victory against Noble in an SMAA boys’ lacrosse opener at Fitzpatrick Stadium.
Brady Green added four goals, and Luigi Grimaldi collected two goals and two assists for the Bulldogs.
Ryan Smith scored twice for Noble.
SOFTBALL
NOBLE 2, MARSHWOOD 0: Amber Kelly struck out 12 with no walks in a three-hitter to lift the Knights (1-0) over the Hawks (1-1) at South Berwick.
Noble made it 1-0 in the second inning when Emma Burns scored from second base on an infield single by Kasey Poligni.
The Knights added a run in the third when Brook Hamilton singled and later scored on a sacrifice fly by Kelly.
Burns and Katie Taylor finished with two hits apiece for the Knights.
Emily Robida of Marshwood scattered seven hits, striking out three and walking three.
