The L.C. Bates Museum is presenting Maine Northern Skies: Clear Light, a summer art exhibition from Thursday through Oct. 15 at the museum on Route 201 in Hinkley.
The exhibition features the work of local artists and their interpretations of Maine’s skies. The exhibit focuses on the richness of Maine’s atmospheric freshness and gives visitors a unique look at how artists view and interpret nature.

A reception will be held at 2 p.m. June 29 at the museum, which is located on the campus of Good Will-Hinckley.
