Author Kate Christensen will talk about her book “Blue Plate Special,” a narrative in which food – eating it, cooking it, reflecting on it – becomes the vehicle for understanding her life. Christensen explores her history of hunger for food, love, confidence and a sense of belonging in this memoir.
