Payson (Pete) W. Tucker, age 65, of Ashcroft Farm Road, died July 21, 2014, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Brunswick, the son of Payson (Jack) Tucker and Ruth Tucker.

Pete attended Brunswick schools, graduating from Brunswick High School in 1967 and attended the University of Colorado.

An excellent skier, Pete served on the Sugarloaf Ski Patrol for several seasons. He loved working on the water and was employed at Dolphin Marine in Harpswell and Brewers Marine in Freeport. He was also a local artist with a gallery known as Driftwood Arts.

Pete enjoyed spending time with all his friends at Mere Point and visiting the islands in Casco Bay in search of materials for his art and constructions.

Surviving is his brother Willis Tucker and wife Bobbi, his brother Jack Tucker and wife Martha.

Pete also had four nephews, three great nephews and one great niece.

At his request, there will not be a service.
