As a mother, my heart goes out to the children and parents trying to cross the southern border of the U.S. to escape many problems in their homeland in Central America.

I wonder what our ancestors would have done if the Indians had not helped them survive by showing them how to live in this country by growing their own food and how to deal with the difference in the climate, etc.

Shouldn’t we consider this when looking at the immigration problem today? Our ancestors were in this situation at one time.
