BOSTON — Charlie Baker will get another shot at winning the governor’s office.

The former head of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care defeated business owner and tea party member Mark Fisher in Tuesday’s Republican primary.

Baker now goes on to face the winner of the three-way Democratic primary between Martha Coakley, Steven Grossman and Don Berwick. Three independent candidates will also be on the November ballot.

Baker was the Republican nominee for governor in 2010. He lost to incumbent Democratic Gov. Deval Patrick, who is not seeking a third term.
