People who want to defeat Gov. LePage should not vote for Mike Michaud, and independent Eliot Cutler should not throw his support to Michaud, either.
The objective is to ensure that the best, most qualified candidate wins, and that candidate is Cutler. Voting for Michaud makes Michaud the spoiler.
If everyone who is against LePage and all those who believe in Cutler would vote for Cutler, then he would be the winner. Trading LePage for Michaud would not be in the best interests for the state of Maine.
What Maine needs now is a leader who has good ideas and the competence to put them in place. No matter what the polls claim and the scaremongers say, we plan to vote for Eliot Cutler on Nov. 4.
