Again, this past week, another news article about the 2nd Congressional District race in this newspaper (“Boehner to raise money for Poliquin’s congressional campaign,” Sept. 17). By comparison, there has been virtually no mention of the 1st Congressional District race in this newspaper. Why is that?
Isaac Misiuk, the Republican opponent of the sitting 1st District representative, Chellie Pingree, is an articulate, intelligent and able candidate for Congress.
Isaac is one of us: a middle-class family man trying to make a positive difference in our community. He will be a definite asset to Maine in Congress. He’ll never forget his roots or the people he will be elected to serve.
Isaac Misiuk deserves your vote. He also deserves some press coverage from this newspaper. Let’s play fair!
