With regard to your restaurant reviewer’s visit to Lolita (“Dine Out Maine: Lolita – the restaurant – ‘is small and sexy and intriguing and complicated,’ “ Sept. 14), I can only ask the question “Who is Melissa Coleman writing for?”

A luncheon that left the reviewer and her guest hungry cost $125?

In this day, age and economy, one wonders, who she is writing to or for?

Self-indulgent in the extreme, this review was.

No one expects a review of the Dollar Menu at McDonald’s, but come on – give us something we can relate to, not this “artists who lunch” snobbery. Her prose has worn out its welcome at my table.
