Hooray for Republican Gov. Paul LePage! While Paul may have “embarrassed” people with his unorthodoxy, I often found myself chuckling. I like a man who has some fire in his veins.
True, Paul may not always be pretty and nice; however, pretty is as pretty does, and he has done some remarkable feats while fighting the fiscal famine that Maine was in when he took office.
He’s created upward of 20,000 new jobs. Managed to cut taxes dramatically. Cracked down on fraud in welfare and paid off a staggering hospital debt, thus helping ensure that poor people’s Maine welfare cards will continue to be acceptable there.
This shows that he is able to bring both parties together on important issues – a very important commodity in these days of rancorous politics. So once again I say, “Hooray for Paul!” He has demonstrated that he’s got what it takes. Vote for him!
