Democrat Shenna Bellows has been endorsed by the National Organization for Women, Feminist Majority and Emily’s List for good reason.

She knows that the decision about whether and when to have a child is one of the most important economic choices a woman can make. She won’t compromise her beliefs on the issue of access to contraception or abortion.

I want voters to be clear about what’s at stake as we choose our next U.S. senator. This election will determine which party has control of the Senate. The Senate will control who the next Supreme Court justice(s) will be.

Reproductive rights have been under attack by Republicans since Ronald Reagan took office. I’m tired of the Republican Party turning women’s bodies into a political issue.

In case there’s any doubt about her reproductive rights commitment, Susan Collins has a lower Planned Parenthood rating than Mike Michaud, who’s at 100 percent.
