Eighty Maine artists will exhibit their work at this year’s Yarmouth Art Festival, Wednesday through Saturday at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 396 Gilman Road.

The festival will feature 162 pieces of work chosen from nearly 350 entries from artists across Maine. This year’s jurors – all returning from the 2013 show – were artist Suzanne Harden; Anne Haas, art librarian at Bowdoin College; and Elizabeth Moss, owner of Elizabeth Moss Gallery in Falmouth.

Some of the artists featured in the exhibit include: Steve Hayes, of Falmouth; Kristine Biegel, Gorham; Michael Maron, South Portland; Daniel Paulding, Parsonsfield; and Erin McCusker, South Portland.

“We’re excited about the response – it’s our largest number of artists ever – which illustrates the vibrancy of the Maine arts community,” Joe Michaud, festival co-chair, said in a press release.

“The overall quality of the work was again outstanding.”

The show will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. An artists’ reception featuring music and refreshments will be held 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. All artwork is for sale.
