Joe Fitzpatrick scored four first-half touchdowns as Cheverus ended its regular season with a 60-6 win over Deering in an Eastern Class A football game Saturday at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Fitzpatrick scored on runs of 11 and 30 yards to put the Stags (7-1) ahead 14-0 early. Zordan Holman followed with a 23-yard interception return for a touchdown, and Justin Johnston’s 9-yard TD run made it 28-0 by the end of the first quarter.

Fitzpatrick added a 45-yard scoring run and a 20-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Patrick Mourmouras kicked six successful conversions as Cheverus extended its lead to 42-0.

Rylan Benedict added three rushing touchdowns in the second half, from 2, 1 and 5 yards.

Deering (4-4) scored in the third quarter when Max Chabot connected with Kobe Velez on a 48-yard pass play.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 47, GORHAM 22: Ryan Gullickson threw for three touchdowns and rushed for another as the Raiders (3-5) clinched a spot in the Western Class B playoffs with a win over the Rams (1-7) at Fryeburg.

Kyle Bennett opened the scoring for Fryeburg with a 41-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. He added a 42-yard run in the third quarter that gave the Raiders a 40-16 lead.

Gullickson connected with Ben Southwick, Nick Armstrong and Nick L’Heureux for touchdown passes.

Logan Drouin, Adam McKenney and A.J. McKay each had a rushing touchdown for Gorham.

OAK HILL 28, LISBON 14: The Raiders (7-1) took advantage of two fumbles and rode a big day from senior Kyle Flaherty to beat the previously unbeaten Greyhounds (6-1) at Lisbon Falls.

Flaherty, who has dealt with a hamstring injury for much of the season, finished with 202 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries.

Alex Mace continued to be a dual threat for Oak Hill and finished with 148 all-purpose yards, while Dalton Therrien completed 5 of 8 passes for 118 yards –including a 34-yard touchdown strike to Kyle Tervo.

Kyle Bourget threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Henry Adams with 6.7 seconds left in the first half to cut Lisbon’s deficit to 21-6. But Oak Hill stopped a long drive by the Greyhounds on the opening possession of the second half, and Flaherty’s 68-yard run on the final play of the third quarter made it 28-6.

Joe Philbrick had a 12-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter for Lisbon, which will be the top seed in the Western Class D playoffs. Oak Hill will be the No. 3 seed.
