SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Daniel Joseph Sposito, age 82, of E. Via De La Luna, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at Hospice of the Valley Sherman House. He was born in Manhattan, NY, on Dec. 3, 1931, the son of Daniel and Anna Barone Sposito.

Daniel grew up with his cousin Tom Martini in Connecticut, then served in the Army during the Korean conflict in Germany and Okinawa, Japan. For 35 years he worked for Pratt and Whitney in East Hartford, CT. He also worked at Hartford Hospital for many years until retiring to Arizona.

He is survived by his wife Beth Sposito of Scottsdale, two sons Gregory and his wife Sasha of NY, and Dean and his wife Joanna of Germany, two daughters Ursula Jackson and her husband Ron of AL, and Michele Sposito of AZ, stepson Jamie of CT, mother-in-law Margaret Wetzel of Brunswick, ME, and five grandchildren, Alexander, Jacqueline, Julia, Michael and Adam Sposito.

He is predeceased by a stepdaughter Heather D’Ambrosio.
