Three men were taken to hospitals after their car crashed Sunday afternoon on Beetle Road in Richmond.

WCSH-TV reported that Scott Trask was driving a Dodge Neon and speeding when he lost control and crashed into a guardrail around 1:30 p.m..

The car became airborne and went down a 25-foot embankment. Trask and his two passengers, who were not wearing seat belts, were ejected from the vehicle, the television station said.

A LifeFlight helicopter took Trask and a passenger, Cameron Blake, to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. A hospital spokeswoman said Trask was in serious condition. Blake was in fair condition.

The third passenger, Dakota Roinstad, was taken to MaineGeneral hospital in Augusta with non-life-threatening injuries.
