She was born in Bath on March 30, 1934, a daughter of Carl and Ruth Pinkham. She attended Bath schools.
She worked for many years in a shoe factory in Freeport until she retired.
She married Richard L. Alley in 1950 and had four children, Marilyn Morton of Phippsburg, Sandra Bowman of Woolwich, Richard Alley of North Carolina, and predeceased by daughter, Barbara Dutton.
She leaves behind her companion of many years, Hiram (Pete) Piedmont of Harpswell.
She was predeceased by her sister Nancy Rose, brothers, David Pinkham, Alan Pinkham, Dana Pickham and Patrick Pinkham.
She is also survived by many grandchildren, great- and great- great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary at Post 21.
There will be an Auxiliary service at the American Legion Post 21 in Bath on Dec. 30 at 2 p.m.
