SACO — Doris J. Corbeil, 73, of Saco, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 at her home.

She was born Nov. 17, 1940 in Biddeford, a daughter of Donat J. and Lucienne M. (Dubuc) Gagne.

She was educated locally and was a graduate of St. Andre’s High School.

On July 4, 1961, she married Paul A. Corbeil at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco.

Mrs. Corbeil had been employed as a CNA at both St. Andre’s Healthcare Facility in Biddeford and Evergreen Manor in Saco, retiring in 1987 to care for her granddaughter. She gave generously of her time and expertise as a care provider for her own grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as those of her friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Paul Corbeil, in 2011; and two brothers, Roland D. Gagne in 2001 and Ralph Gagne in 2011.

Surviving are: two daughters, Diane M. Corbeil and Pauline D. Corbeil and her partner of 16 years Charles Phillips; two grandchildren, Jessica Williams and her husband Lester Jr. and Kyle Corbeil; two great-grandchildren, Maddison and Kruz Williams, all of Saco; three brothers, Robert Gagne and his wife Irene, Raymond Gagne and his wife Eleanor, all of Biddeford, and Norman Gagne of and his wife Donna of Manchester, New Hampshire; and two sisters, Jeannette Sullivan of Biddeford and Claudette Letendre of Saco.

Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 at the funeral home.
