Westbrook police on Friday arrested a man wanted by authorities in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on charges of sexually abusing a child and possessing child pornography.
Local police and members of the Southern Maine Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Joshua D. Gordon, 30, at a home on Brown Street. Gordon was being sought on a warrant charging him with sexual abuse of a child under 12 and aggravated possession of child pornography, police said.

Gordon was taken to Cumberland County Jail in Portland, where he is being held pending extradition to Oklahoma.
