SHAPLEIGH — Manuel Alfred “Al” DelGaizo died peacefully on Dec. 5, 2014 at his home in Shapleigh, of natural causes.

Al, or “Manny” as he was referred to by his close friends, was born in Patterson, New Jersey.

Son of Lucille Manda and Dominick DelGaizo, he was born Nov. 13, 1937.

Manuel graduated from Ramsey High School and married his high school sweetheart, Suella Morrisey. They were married fro 56 wonderful years.

Al worked in the building supply industry and also owned a bar while living in New Jersey.

He is survived by: his wife, Suella; four children; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by all.
