WESTBROOK — Emily Esposito scored 18 points and Kristen Curley added 15 for Gorham, which pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Westbrook 49-42 in an SMAA schoolgirl basketball game Friday night at Warren Gym.

Conley hit a key 3-pointer in the fourth quarter as Gorham (9-1), which led 27-26 through three quarters, outscored Westbrook, 22-16.

Danasia Fennie led Westbrook (6-4) with 14 points. Marissa Martel and Sarah Wagner scored 11 apiece.

DEERING 60, MASSABESIC 21: Lodia Ismail scored 19 points, including three 3-pointers, and Katasia Titherington made four 3-pointers and finished with 13 points to lead the Rams (8-2) past the Mustangs (1-9) at Portland.

Mary Tadsse added 11 points and Cierra Burnham grabbed 11 rebounds for Deering, which led 18-5 after the first quarter and 33-13 at the half.

Alyssa Wardwell and Karlie Pike scored seven points each for Massabesic.

OCEANSIDE 56, GARDINER 48: Emily Gould scored 24 points to lead Oceanside (8-3) over the Tigers (4-7) at Gardiner.

Mary Toman had 20 points and had eight rebounds, and Lauren Chadwick added 12 points for Gardiner (4-7).

SACOPEE VALLEY 57, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 32: Annette Humphrey and Tianna Garland each scored 13 points for Sacopee Valley (4-4) against the Lions (1-7) at South Hiram.

Erin Robinson finished with 10 points for Greater Portland Christian.

THORNTON ACADEMY 71, NOBLE 10: Ashley Howe scored 20 points for the Trojans (9-1), who opened with a 20-2 run and cruised past the Knights (0-10) at Saco.

Victoria Lux added 10 points for the Trojans, who led 33-7 at halftime.

FOREST HILLS 38, RICHMOND 35: Linda Riley scored a game-high 16 points to lead the Tigers (1-7) over Richmond (6-3) at Jackman.

Keely Taylor added nine points for Forest Hills.

Sydney Tilton led Richmond with 15 points. Kelsea Anair added 13.

MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 45, ERSKINE ACADEMY 32: Sydney Morton scored 15 points to lead the Huskies (4-7) over Erskine Academy (1-10) at South China.

April McAlpine scored 12 points and Ashley Alton added eight points for MCI.

Lauren Wood scored eight points for Erskine.
