PORTLAND — The Portland Tenants Union will meet for the second time on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 6 p.m. in Room 24 at City Hall, according to co-founder Grace Damon.

Damon and Catherine Wilson, whose son lived at 20 Noyes St. but was not at home during a fatal fire Nov. 1, 2014,  founded the group to advocate for tenants’ rights and safer rental housing in the city.

According to a news release, the first hour of the meeting is for tenants only. The meeting will be opened to all others after 7 p.m.
