A man died after a fire broke out in his mobile home in the Waldo County town of Frankfort, police said Sunday.

The body of Darryl White, 65, was found in the living room of the home Sunday afternoon by a neighbor, said Stepen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

A small fire took place inside the residence on Loggin Road, but there was little damage to the mobile home, McCausland said in a press release Sunday night.

White lived alone and an autopsy is scheduled Monday at the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, according to McCausland.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fatal fire, the second in two days in a mobile home.

A Plymouth man died Friday night when his mobile home caught fire, the fire marshal’s office said.
