LIMINGTON — Gayle Marie Nelson, age 69, of Limington, born on Nov. 5, 1945, joined her late husband David A. Nelson on March 28, 2015.
She is preceded in death by: her mom and dad; brother, Bob; and husband, David A. Nelson.
She is survived by: two sons, Scott and David Nelson; daughter-in-law, Betty Nelson; four grandchildren, Joshua, Alex, Connor and Zackary; and two great-grandchildren, Colby and Anaya. She will be missed by her siblings, Jack, Tom, Dan, Jane and Judy.
Gayle’s favorite pastimes included going to different restaurants with friends, playing cards, doing crosswords, having Sunday dinner, and working in flower gardens; she just thoroughly enjoyed the outside. Her favorite of all time was sewing.
She will be sadly missed by many friends and family, who are invited to the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Route 22) in Buxton, on April 11 from noon to 2 p.m. Afterward there will be a celebration of life at David and Betty’s residence in Limington. Everyone will share favorite foods and stories, and those attending are welcome to bring their favorite dish to share.
