Re: “The end of legally sanctioned homophobia may finally be in sight” (April 5):
Columnist Barney Frank’s rhetoric is offensive. He describes those who affirm natural marriage between a male and a female, as well as those who would protect a person’s religious liberty, as “anti-gay” (two times), “anti-LGBT,” “biased” and “bigots.”
He also uses the words “prejudice” (two times), “bigotry,” “hatred” and “homophobia” to demonize those who disagree.
Will the nastiness never end? Is it not possible to respect those who have a well-founded, conscientious, religious objection to same-sex “marriage” – as most people in the world do?
