York County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a Cliff Ledge Drive residence in Arundel at 1 a.m. on Friday because of reports of a disturbance. They were also made aware that Kaitlin Toler, 27, was at the house. Toler was wanted on several drug-related warrants.
The officers were denied entry at the residence by Dale Goodwin, 53, who said that he was alone in the house, although deputies could see evidence of Toler’s presence.
Negotiations with Goodwin through a locked failed to persuade him to let the officers in, though Toler did acknowledge that she was in the house.
The Sheriff’s deputies finally forced entry into the house and arrested Toler with failure to appear for drug offenses and theft. Goodwin was arrested for hindering arrest.
